West Norriton Township Centennial Committee
The Centennial Committee invites residents and members of the business community to join in planning the commemoration of the 100th birthday of our township in 2009. Several events are planned throughout next year including West Norriton Day and Parade, a Dinner/Dance at Westover Golf Club, 5K Run/Walk, Phillies Bus Trip, Family Outdoor Movie Night, an Octoberfest Golf Outing and a reenactment of the division of Norriton Township into East & West Norriton. To assist the committee in planning the festivities, please send a letter including name, address, e-mail, phone number and event/area of interest to West Norriton Township Centennial Committee, 1630 W. Marshall St., Jeffersonville, PA 19403 by March 15, 2008. The committee hopes you will join its members in commemorating this worthy milestone. Please note - Sub-Committee position spaces are limited so please submit your letter promptly. Our Committee Chairperson will notify you if your assistance is needed.

Donate your old cell phones here!
West Norriton Township is collecting old cell phones and cell phone batteries for the Secure the Call Foundation. Secure the Call is a local coalition of organizations such as women's shelters, senior citizen centers, sheriff and police departments, that distribute phones to any citizen who needs one for the purpose of calling 911 in the event of an emergency. They will collect the phones, wipe them clean of any service, numbers and address books and then reprogram them for 911 only service.
