West Norriton Police consists of twenty seven sworn officers and a civilian office support staff of five. The West Norriton Police Department patrols a suburban area of 5 square miles and serves a population of approximately seventeen thousand people.

West Norriton Police Department consists of a Patrol Division, Detective Division and Records Division. West Norriton Police Department also has specialized units that consist of a Bicycle Patrol, an Emergency Response Unit (SWAT) that are part of a multi-jurisdictional Tactical Team and a Traffic Safety Unit.
