Request for Proposals (RFP) for Township Solicitor
Review and discussion on Request for Proposal for Township Solicitor. Township staff has prepared a draft RFP for review by the Board of Commissioners
Residential Parking Permit Program
Discussion regarding amendment to parking permit program for Forrest Ave. Based on resident feedback parking issues persist on Forrest Ave. and the adjoining apartment complex in the Borough of Norristown. Possible discussion on expansion of program to N. Wakefied Ave.
Possible Merging of the Open Space Committee and the Environmental Advisory Council (EAC)
At the request of the Board of Commissioners, Township staff has provided a background and the possible merging of the Open Space Committee into the Environmental Advisory Council.
Amendment to the Non-Uniform DROP (Deferred Retirement Option Program)
Amendment to the current Non-Uniform DROP Ordinance extending the time frame from 3 years to 4 years.  This will make the Ordinance compliant with the current AFSCME Bargaining Agreement that was approved in 2017.
Appointments for Boards and Commissions
Discussion and possible action on remaining appointments to Board and Commissions.
Live-streaming Township Meetings
Discussion on the process to live-stream township meetings and the next possible steps.
Act 172 of 2016: Incentives for Municipal Volunteers of Fire Companies and Nonprofit Emergency Medical Services Agencies.
Discussion on establishing a Volunteer Service Credit Program.  The goal of the program is to encourage membership and service in the community’s volunteer fire companies and nonprofit emergency medical service agencies
Rules of Decorum for Township Meetings
Discuss Resolution 16-577 that established Rules of Decorum for Township meetings and provides procedures governing public participation at such meetings.

  • Application Mobilitie, LLC and having reference to the property situated in the PennDOT right-of-way near 510 S. Trooper Road.
  • A special expection/variance from the requirements of Section 27-2405.1 of the Township Zoning Ordinance.
