Fair Districts PA
Presentation and Discussion on possible adoption of a resolution supporting Fair Districts PA

  • Fair Districts PA supports PA Senate Bill 22, a bipartisan proposal introduced by Senators Lisa Boscola, a Democrat, and Mario Scavello, a Republican, in February 2017. Fair Districts PA also supports PA House Bill 722, a bipartisan proposal introduced by Representative Eric Roe, a Republican, and Representative Steve Samuelson, a Democrat, in April 2017.
  • Both SB 22 and HB 722 propose to create an independent citizens commission in charge of both legislative and congressional redistricting. 

Consider Zoning Map amendment from 250' to 300' of property line re: 1956-1966 W. Main Street
Parcels that make up the properties of 1956-1966 W. Main Street are zoned Commercial 250' from the street and the remainder is zoned R-2.

Potential owner is seeking to have the entire property zoned Commercial. 
Consider adopting Ordinance No. 2018-718 Amending Residential Parking Permit Program
Consider authorizing staff to advertise the proposed Ordinance Establishing a Volunteer Service Credit Program; Enacting Tax Credits for Volunteer Members of Fire Companies and Non-Profit Emergency Medical Service Agency.
