Pennsylvania American Water is planning to close Route 363 (Trooper
Road) weekdays between Ridge Pike and Germantown Pike in Lower Providence,
Worcester, East Norriton and West Norriton townships, Montgomery County,
beginning at 9:00 AM Monday, September 24, for water main installation, the
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today. The
weekday closure will be in place from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM through late November.
During construction, Route 363 (Trooper Road) motorists will be
directed to use Ridge Pike and Germantown Pike. Local access will be maintained
up to the construction zone.
Motorists are advised to allow for additional time when traveling near
the work area. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
Pennsylvania American Water will complete this project under a PennDOT
Highway Occupancy Permit.
