Padden Park Playground Improvements



Beginning October 15th the Firehouse Recreation Site will undergo and mill and overlay. In addition, a new extension of the existing lot and new walking trails will be installed allowing for easier access to the sport courts, pavilion and playground. Due to the on-going construction, the basketball and tennis courts will be temporarily closed. Welcome to the West Norriton Parks and Recreation Department. We are pleased to provide a variety of programs, facilities, and services to meet your recreational needs. Throughout the year, we offer a wide range of recreation programs, classes, and special events that serve all ages. We have six parks throughout the township and take great pride in maintaining and preserving each of them. We also provide township-wide special events such as the Annual Egg Hunt, West Norriton Community Day, Family Movie Night, Tree Lighting Ceremony, and more. We strive to keep our strong township traditions alive while continually adding to and enhancing them, as well as creating new traditions along the way.


The West Norriton Township Parks and Recreation Department is a professionally operated, multifaceted leisure services department. Our mission is based on a passion for enhancing the lives of our residents through recreation while maintaining a safe, clean environment. Our department fosters the responsibility for developing, supporting, and administering constructive recreational activities and facilities that will provide a richer community life for the residents of our township.
