West Norriton Township is committed to protecting our local streams and waterways. An illicit discharge is any discharge into the storm sewer system that is not stormwater, such as chemicals, oils, wastewater, or other pollutants. These materials flow directly into nearby waterways without treatment and can harm the environment and public health.
Stormwater runoff in West Norriton Township flows directly into nearby streams without treatment. Reporting suspected illicit discharges—such as dry-weather flows, unusual odors, discoloration, or visible pollutants—helps the Township remain in compliance with state and federal regulations and protects water quality.
If you believe there is an environmental or public safety emergency, contact the PA DEP Emergency Response Hotline immediately. For non-emergencies, please use the reporting form below to submit your concern.
