Biography

Roseanne Milazzo has more than 20 years of experience teaching in public high schools and community colleges in 3 states. She has also led an English Department and managed grants. Before her retirement from teaching, she worked as an English Instructor at Montgomery County Community College and for the Trio Upward Bound Program for students at Norristown and Pottstown High Schools. She holds a master’s degree in English Language, Rhetoric and Writing from California State University.

Roseanne is dedicated to serving the West Norriton Community. During her teaching career, Roseanne’s service was focused on serving the schools where she taught. She was proud to receive a service award for her contributions to her school community. Currently, Roseanne is working with the West Norriton Silver Circle to increase participation and to create interesting programs for senior citizens. Roseanne served as a charter member of the Environmental Advisory Committee.  She is a liaison to the Parks and Recreation Department and a member of the Industrial Development Authority.

Roseanne has worked to improve communication with residents, for efficiency in government, and for a better quality of life for all citizens.

  • Township meetings are now live-streamed so all residents can participate in government.
  • Public projects are now held to higher standards to provide better quality and more efficient use of Township funds.
  • Township now has a Human Relations Ordinance and Commission which helps all citizens feel safe and respected.

Roseanne loves theater and regularly attends local productions. She also loves soccer and is a fan of both the Philadelphia Union and Manchester United.

Roseanne grew up in a small community in Northern New Jersey.  When she and her husband Phil moved to Pennsylvania in 2008, they chose West Norriton because they love the hometown feel of this community.
