SEPTA has added weekday evening and Sunday service to Route 131 between Norristown Transportation Center and Audubon. Route 131 will no longer serve Trooper Rd between Egypt Rd and Boulevard of the Generals and will instead use the Route 99 stops on Shannondell Blvd south of Egypt Rd. The realignment will provide a closer pedestrian connection for employees of Shannondell Senior Living. The additional service levels will also benefits employees of the Amazon Flex facility in West Norriton.
These changes will go into effect on Sunday, August 26, 2018.
