We are seeking a part-time, seasonal Park Maintenance Worker to perform daily maintenance and preservation of township parks system and facilities.

Responsibilities:

Perform general maintenance, construction, painting and repair of park and recreational facilities

Utilize a variety of hand and power tools in park maintenance work, including routine maintenance of equipment

Operate mowers, tractors, vehicles and other small equipment, including assisting in routine maintenance

Water, clean, repair and fertilize lawns, athletic fields, courts, plants, trees, shrubs and other facilities

Clean restrooms and pick up litter around parks, including duties at summer day camp program

Qualifications:

Ability to perform general construction and maintenance

Possess valid Pennsylvania motor vehicle operator's license

Knowledge of general construction tools and equipment and ability to learn to operate construction equipment

High school diploma preferred with a minimum age of 18 years

Ability to handle physical workload, including lifting heavy weights, stooping, bending and twisting
