Purpose of the Board

The West Norriton Township Parks and Recreation Committee was formed by the township's Board of Commissioners in accordance with the Pennsylvania First Class Township Code.

The general purpose of the Recreation Committee is to assist the Parks and Recreation Department staff in developing, planning, and administering special township events and functions throughout the year. Such events include Community Day, Family Movie Night, Fall Festival, Tree Lighting, Annual Egg Hunt, and more.
