Sewage Bills

Sewer rental bills are mailed quarterly on the first business days of January, April, July, and October. Payment is due within 30 days. A 10% penalty will be imposed on all sewer rental payments outstanding for more than 30 days. Interest charges will also be applied to the outstanding principal balance each month it goes unpaid. Failure to receive a bill does not relinquish responsibility for payment or penalty.

Installation of Private Meters

To receive consideration for a waiver of sewer charges (for filling a pool) a private meter may be installed. Please contact the Township Sewer Department for information concerning the installation and cost of a private meter in order to monitor the related water consumption. Sump Pump Related Fines & Ordinances

Any sump pump or gutter drain connected into the sanitary sewer system is a violation of West Norriton Township Ordinance Chapter 18. Failure to comply will result in a fine of $1,000 per violation.

Certification

Sewer rents are billed quarterly in arrears. Requests for sewer certifications may be made up to 30 days prior to the date of closing or settlement. The cost of each certification request is $30, payable at the time the request is made. The sewer certification form is available on our Forms and Requests page.

Payment Information

Payments may be at the Township Building located at 1630 West Marshall Street in Jeffersonville during the normal business hours of 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Payments for sewer billing and sewer certifications should be made payable to "West Norriton Township - Sewer" and may be mailed to the following address. Please allow 7-10 business days for regular mail delivery.
